GENEROUS (adjective)

1 - giving or willing to give something, especially money, more than usual or expected (approving) 慷慨的
It was most generous of you to lend me the money when I lost my job.

2. - friendly, helpful, and willing to see the good qualities in someone or something. 寬大為懷

He was always generous in sharing his enormous knowledge...

CHARITABLE (adjective)

1.- giving money, food or help free to those who are in need because they are ill, poor or have no home (connected with a charity or charities) 慈善,

2: - kind, and not judging other people in a severe way寬容的對待
