As I do not want to write like advertisement, I cannot disclose the names of reliable private tutors here but give you some hints only.
There are a few ways for you to find the tutors:
1) via your peers. The friends can always give the most accurate answers for they have attended private tutorials for years and they have experience by comparison, and they may have heard more about the quality and efficiency of different tutors.
2) via the forum: Some forums have opened discussions on the tutors of different subjects. You can open the a/c then come there and check the comments left by different people. There may be a risk for the comments there may not be the true picture if someone has intention to push someone up or down.
3) via the newspaper advertisement: The large-scaled private tutorial centres can offer tutorials for most subjects even in junior forms. But you need to go into any of its centre to collect the promotional leaflets and compare their prices first. Sometimes discount would be offered if you attend more than 1 class.
4) via your school: Some schools offer after-school tutorials ( free of charge ) for students. Usually some U-students/ old boys old girls are recruited to teach and the class size is small, which has an added advantage for asking a lot of questions conveniently without being scared by others in the private tutorials.
You can have a lot of choices actually, so depending on your financial conditions and the no. of subjects you need, and also the urgency you need to apply.
Hope I can help you.
