DGS is arguably the best girls school in Hong Kong, even though some people on Yahoo knowledge platform disagree with me. Your academic record is good, but it also depends on which school you come from. There is a good chance that you may get into DGS. Your chance mainly rests on the interview. Your family background, whether you have any sister in that school or your mum is a DGS old girl do carry some weight when they consider your application. Have you had an interview already? They look for girls 讀得玩得. (not just bookworm) In the interview, you have to show that you are knowledgeable and have independent thinking. The only reservation about DGS is that it is now a private school. Unlike the old days, you have to come from a well-to-do family. It automatically rules out all the financially poor but academically excellent students. Most parents push their kids to excel, every child and parents must exceed beyond their limit to survive in DBS and DGS. I don't know why you want to enter DGS, but girls who do and remain there are proud students of their school.
