electron withdrawing group根本問題

why NO2 is electron withdrawing group?
why NH2 ,NR2 is not ?
all of them have N atom...

In -NR2 group, there is also a lone pair of electrons on the N atom.

NO2 is electron withdrawing group not because nitrogen only but as the comination with oxygen . Same to NH2 & NR2 are electron releasing groups . You have to consider the adjacent atoms which can affect this properties .
