Physics: Do no work ?

Please, explain when a ball for example , is rolling down on an inclined plane and if the ball rolls without slipping , the fact that the frictional force do no work on the ball ? why? ( It is sth deal with the velocity=0?)

Clearly, if the ball rolls without slipping, the point of contact of the ball with the surface of the inclined plane is at rest. Since their is no slidding action involved, the frictional force doesn't have any displacement and hence does no work.
