Reading number and year in Eng

Like Chinese, numbers in English are read from right to left, in the order of biggest to the smallest. e.g : Billions, millions, thousands, hundreds and tens.

e.g : US$12345678 is read as : Twelve million, three hundred forty-five thousand, six hundred and seventy-eight dollars.

Wow! I wish I have this numbers in my Bank.

Reading dates :

If written as 25-12-2010 : it's read as : Twenty fifth December, Two thousand "O" Ten

or alternatively

12-25-2010 will be read as : December, Twenty fifth, Two thousand "O" ten.

another one would be : Year 2010, December Twenty Fifth.

(lol) or you could simply say : It's Christmas Day 2010, happy holidays and

Merry X'mas.
