Figure of speech1. simile(明喻)- an expressed comparison between 2 objects of unlike nature.
Key words: as what as~ like
Example:
These girls are as beautiful as those roses.
This chair is as hard as the stone.
2.Metaphor(暗喻)- An implied comparison that does not use the word like and as.
Example:
Donations are coals in the snow.
Examinations are knives on my bed.
