Linda, Chung Ka-Yan (born 9 April 1984) is a TVB actress and singer based in Hong Kong. She entered the industry in 2004 when she won the 2004 Miss Chinese InternationalPageant. She is now an actressunder TVB and a singer under the Star Entertainment label. She has starred in several TV series, most notably Best Bet(2007), Heart of Greed(2007), Moonlight Resonance(2008), and The Gem of Life(2008–09).

BiographyChung was born in Maple Ridge, British Columbiaand raised in Vancouver. She has an elder brother and an older sister.After graduating from Vancouver's Templeton Secondary School, Linda participated and won first place in a beauty-talent show hosted by Crystal Mall, an Asian mall located in Burnaby, British Columbia.In 2003, Chung won the title of Miss Chinese Vancouver, along with three awards in the same event. In 2004, she joined Miss Chinese International, a beauty pageant organized by TVB, and became the third contestant from Vancouver in four years to win Miss Chinese International.
