4. “I've tried my best, but the seeds wouldn't grow,” explained Shin Wi sadly.

5. “You are a very honest boy, Shin Wi. They won't grow because they are not seeds, but coloured beads” the king commented.

It is much better in this way. (“explained” is placed after Shun Wi.)

I think you miss a word “not” in sentence 5.

chlidren– spelling error. It should be “children”.
