Isn't it a bad sentence? (I am not a native English speaker.)
The sentence beginning with "Though". Please read and share your thoughts.

One way multi-sided platforms solve this problem is by
subsidizing a Customer Segment. Though a platform
operator incurs costs by serving all customer groups, it
often decides to lure one segment to the platform with
an inexpensive or free Value Proposition in order to
subsequently attract users of the platform’s “other side.”
One difficulty multi-sided platform operators face is
understanding which side to subsidize and how to price
correctly to attract customers.

The whole paragraph is written in fairly dense 'management speak' so it is hard to say whether one sentence is worse than any other.

No, this sentence works well. Many people often say "though" instead of "although". It makes sense both ways.

Ideas too congested and it's hard to read. The language is ok but like I said the ideas are unclear.

1)What do multi-platform do as a whole?
2)What does a multi-sided platform have in relation to a customer segment?
3)Is one platform = one customer's segment?
4) Are you proposing multi-platform with single operator or operators serving multiple platform?

If I'm the reader of your writing, I would have asked the above.

Absolutely but take it on serious note.
