In the figure, ADB and AEC are straight lines, AB⊥BC. DE is the perpendicular bisector of △ABC.

a)Prove that AD=CD
B)Find the perimeter of △BCD

AE=EC(Given)
AED=DEC=90(Given)
DE=DE(common side)

triAED=triCED(SAS)

AD=CD(corr. sides,=tri.s)
____________________--
AD=CD
CD+DB=8

BC^2+8^2=10^2(Pyth.theorem)
BC=6

Perimeter:8+6=14cm

只要prove左題a,再從ac=cd的方向出發,就能容易地解題.(大部分都是這樣計算的)
