In order to clear the rest stock: 3 over 5, he decreases the selling price and has $8 profit/pc,

Answer: 250pcs

Question Part B)
After sold 100pcs for $8 profit/pc, the rest is discarded.
However, it still has 20% total earning.
--> What does the total cost of the Calendar?
Answer: $6500

Missing info of Part A: The total profit eraring is $3000, if all stock sold. Explanation of Part B: According to the rest stock of 3 over 5, the selling situation is turniing worse. The man can't sell all of them, but 100pcs onlly. The profit is $8/pc. Then, he scraps all the unsalable stock.
