Which sentence is correct?

this country is bleak. this country is dismal. this country is gloomy.

i want to say that this country is bleak/dismal (i don't know which one is correct) because they don't celebrate regularly as we do. and they do not even celebrate holidays the way they should be celebrated. if all of them are wrong or don't convey the meaning i want, please correct them.

Any one of them is correct, but none of them express your meaning without further elaboration.

They all work, and they are all synonyms of depressing. You probably would have to explain why if you were talking to someone. I hope that helps.

this country isn't happening

Happening could mean almost everything but if it isn't happening then nothing is right.
