pronounciation help, thank you.?

Just wondering, how do you pronounce the word "where"?
I thought I knew how to pronounce it until I checked the IPA, which is [hweə]

I was very surprised with the "h" sound in it, cos I have never ever heard the "h" sound in the word "where". I simply pronounce it as "weə", and I thought that's how other people pronounce it too.
Am I wrong? How do ppl normally pronounce it?
