For answer A. IF the performance was unsatisfactory, it will not affect his cost of his choice. As he decided to see it, the result would not a hindrance, so it is incorrect.

For answer B, If he is distributed by others, it will not affect his choice because this is not a hindrance and he still can watch and listen although its effects is not good, so it is incorrect.

For answer C, it must be correct . As it is an opportunity cost. For Joe, at first, he may have sth to do after watching, however, it is postponed, so he might lose his time to do other things, so it will affect his choice.

D is the answer but the reason is that all the answer A,B and C only affected the value of going to the stadium to watch the football match, instead of 'no choice no cost'.

For A, performance is unsatisfactory will decrease the value of going to the stadium to watch the football match. But, the value of the cost remains unchange.

For B, being disturbed by other audience while watch the match will decrease the value of going to the stadium to watch the football match. But, the value of the cost remains unchange.

For C, unexpected incident happened causing the football match end 1hr later, will only affect the value of going to the stadium to watch the football match. But, the value of the cost remains unchange.

So, the answer is D, none of the above.

As the question only mention an inccident happened, but its value is unknown, the value of the inncident can either be higher or lower than the time cost.

So, if the value of that inccident is higher than the time cost, the time cost will not be included as the cost only count the highest-valued option forgone(best-alternative forgone). And in this case, only the value of the choice is affected, but not the cost.

For this unsure answer, better not to choose.

So, the answer is still D.

Hope I can help you!

All the above are the events after go to stadium. So no cost involved. If he already knows these incidents, these will form part of the cost.
