Not sure I'm right about these quotes, by reading it.. sound to me like :

1) He who slings mud generally loses ground.
Ans) If you sling your enemy with soggy mud, not only would you get yourself dirty but your enemy could be laughing out loud.
An expression use to describe a bad deed that retributed on yourself.

2) It ain't what they call you; it's what you answer to.
If you're not what people think you're, your action speaks for itself.
An expression use to describe : the real truth about you can never be tarnish by rumours.

3) Violence is my last option
This one is slightly easier...: )
If you're a superman in disguise and some noob gangster challenges you to a fight. You smile and say this to him.
An expression use to describe : a person's physical prowess that is hidden from a naked eyes.
