They just let these student scum walk all over them. They don't use tear gas, they don't use water canons they just stand there and do practically nothing. In Italy and Greece the police knock some heads together but in the UK - a big fat nothing!
Are the police scared that if they crack-down on the little toe-rags they'll loose their jobs? Seems criminals have more rights than the police these days. If I was a copper they'd be walking way with their teeth in a Tesco bag.

Hear, hear, Disgruntled!If the police do take action, there will be lawsuits and edited phone cam pictures all over the left wing press, and the police will be branded as "Fascist Nazi Pigs", if the police do take a more softly, softly approach, they are branded as "ineffective and pointess".
They just cannot win!
They have a tough job to do, and pretty sh*tty circumstances to do it all in. Can you do their job? I bet you a pound to a penny you would not be seen dead walking about or filling in paperwork at 3am!

Oh, and for your information, they are protesting outside the wrong bastard buildings! I also do not call shoving a colleague to the ground, hurling abuse at her and breaking her arm as she was coming back from her lunch break a "peaceful protest" - thankfully we have the culprits on camera, so hopefully their mummies and daddies will have a knock on their door soon! If they cannot locate the Treasury, a building whose address is in the public domain, yet expect these future doctors, scientists and polititians to locate cancers, WMD, broken bones, asteriods etc. then god help us all!

They can't win can they, they get accused of brutality and over-zealousness and then there is a big expensive public enquiry at the behest of the lefties, encouraged by their cheer leaders the BBC, damned if they do damned if they don't!

they do normally. they were known to beat people with batons and riot shields at the g20 protest and they also killed a man. btw. the students are not scum. they have a legal right to protest and thats what they are trying to do .there are always exceptions but right now most of them are peaceful while being illegally contained by the police.

they are ordered to stand and observe by the commissoner of met police, he said he wanna police in the "british way", so he didnt let the officers to use force
