A uniform, solid cylinder with mass M and radius 2R rests on a horizontal table top. A string is attached by a yoke to a frictionless axle through the center of the cylinder so that the cylinder can rotate about the axle. The string runs over a diskshaped pulley mass M and radius R that is mounted on a frictionless axle through its center. A block of mass M is suspended from the free end of the string (see the figure). The string does not slip over the pulley surface, and the cylinder rolls without slipping on the table top. Find the magnitude of the acceleration of the block after the system is released from rest.

大略來說就是看圖就對了 然後問你方塊的加速度 桌上的滾輪是純滾動 桌角的滾輪跟細繩間也是純滾動

把系統分成三個部份來看
T1、T2 分別是繩子張力,f 是摩擦力
看(1)系統
合力供做加速度 T2 - f = M a ... (i)
還有摩擦力矩提供轉動加速度 力矩 = 轉動慣量 * 角加速度
f * 2R = (1/2)*M*(2R)^2 * a/2R ... (ii)
這邊利用圓盤轉動慣量=(1/2) m r^2 以及 中心加速度=半徑*角加速度

(2)系統 繩子張力供做轉動加速度
(T1 - T2) * R = (1/2)*M*R^2 * a/R ...(iii)

(3)系統 重力+繩張力供做加速度
Mg - T1 = M a ...(iv)

此四式解聯立
a = g/3
