請各位高手幫我解決下面難題(要交功課):

A shopowner sets the marked price of a camera so as to make a profit of 20%. Finally, he sells it at a discount of 10% and makes a profit of $256. What is the cost price of the camera?

Let x be the cost price of the camera :
Sets the marked price of a camera so as to make a profit of 20% : marked price = $ x (1 + 20%) = 1.2x
He sells it at a discount of 10% :selling price = $ (1.2x) (1 - 10%) = 1.2x * 0.9 = 1.08x
And makes a profit of $256 : Profit = 256
Selling price - the cost = 256
1.08x - x = 256
0.08x = 256
x = 256/0.08
x = 3200
The cost price of the camera = $ 3200
