If you are in the United States yes. The law states that you may only date someone with the age difference of two years. Whether it's up or down it doesn't matter. But once you turn 18 he'll be 27 then you can date him. If the police find out he can go to jail for statutory rape as long as you are under 18 and his more then two years older.
