1.Clinical thermometers are used to measure the human body temperature which normally ranged from 33C to 40C.It is not necessary to measure the other ranges of temperature as those are of no interest for the clinical purpose.
2.It ensure the measured temperature is accurate data because the constriction in the tube above the bulb preventing movement of the column of liquid downward for a while after use.
3.The glass wall should be thin which facilitate heat transfer.
4.Is "bore" = "capillary tube"??If "is",the ans would be:
the bore should be narrow to improve the sensitivity of the thermometer .In the results , the thermometer would be more accurate.
