Turning 19 before I'm 19?

Let's say my birthday is in an hr for me. I live in central US and for someone who is on the East Coast I am already 19 by the time it's an hr before I'm 19 where I live.

Oh noes 18 in one part of the world and 19 in another.

how does this make you feel when you think about yourself being older in one part of the world than you are in your home?

Forty: No body celebrates their birthday at the actual time they were born ;). If I was standing in North Carolina, I wouldn't wait an extra hr to celebrate my birthday. I don't think there's a set rule, either. Thank you for your answer though :)))

Well its never by much. I go off the time zone from where I was born (east coast USA) even though I live in central USA. It is the TRUE time I was born at. 9:50 pm there, and so to truly celebrate, its 8:50 pm here. It really doesn't bother me, but I'd be SUPER confused if I went to another country xD

hi5 I'm turning 19 too- but thats in December. I can't believe its that soon- I have the mental ability of a pre-pubescent child.

I'll be 19- wayy in the future before you, since I'm from NZ and we're a day ahead of USA. It doesn't do anything- unless I'm 20- then I'd secretly weep. Many thanks.

You're as old as you are wherever you're born. Lol does that make sense?? If you're born somewhere, and then you move someplace that's an hour behind, your "technical" birthday would start at 11pm instead of 12am. Lol does that even make sense?? Oh well, happy birthday :)
