The indefinite pronouns "none" and "any" may be singular and plural in meaning.

What are the differences between sentence 1 and 2, and 3 and 4?

1. None of the cellphones is expensive.
2. None of the cellphones are expensive.

3. is any of the books interesting?
4. are any of the books interesting?

Sentence 1 and 3 are incorrect. This is because it isn't the plural or singular nature of the words "none" and "any" that indicate if the sentence should be constructed using "is" or "are". It is the subject of the sentence that indicates the proper work. "Cellphones" and "books" are the plural versions of these words, therefore the work "are" showing that the subject is plural should be used, not the work "is" as that would indicate that the subject is singular in nature.

Well, it is an object pronoun in the first sentence. You're right. However, in the second sentence, 'her' is a possessive adjective, not a pronoun. The possessive pronoun would be 'hers.'
