when x approaches 2, the denominator approaches zero while the numerator approaches +7 which is finite. SO there is not limit.

If the equation tends to +/- infinity, as x tends to a, for a is a constant,
then limit does not exist.

Is there a problem for the first question? I mean the limit of the equation when x approaches to 2 from the left.

Can you explain why there is no limit?I thought the limit is negative infinity.....
