How can you tell if the title is salvaged? Does it say it on the title?
I am gonna buy a car and i asked the owner. he said the title is clean.

It will say SALVAGE or REBUILT right on the title.If you don't trust him run a Car fax and have the vehicle professionally inspected by a certified mechanic. A rebuilt car won't get past the trained eyes of a good mechanic.
