ax^2+bx+c =0
under what condition that
a) two roots are positive
b)the two roots are negative
c) one root is positive and one is negative

(e.g. a >0, a <0 ..........etc)

Let α , β be 2 roots : a)α > 0 and β > 0.3 conditions are required :α , β are real : b² - 4ac ≥ 0 α + β > 0 : - b/a > 0α β > 0 : c/a > 0
b)α < 0 and β < 0.3 conditions are required :α , β are real : b² - 4ac ≥ 0α + β < 0 : - b/a < 0α β > 0 : c/a > 0
c)α < 0 and β > 0 .2 conditions are required :α , β are real and α ≠ β : b² - 4ac > 0α β < 0 : c/a < 0
