4/5 - (3k + 8)/5 = 1/2[4 - (3k + 8)]/5 = 1/2
[4 - 3k - 8]/5 = 1/2
4 - 8 - 3k = 5(1/2)
2(-4 - 3k) = 5
2(-4) - 2(3k) = 5
-8 - 6k = 5
-6k = 5 + 8
k = 13/(-6)
k = -13/6
