關於Participle的問題

原句是這樣的：

The internet can be harmful when (it is) used inappropriately.

在when這連接詞後，(it is)可以省略，如：

Please call me when (it is) needed.

除了when外，還有while, though,if, as, until等，如：

While (I was) reading, I fell asleep.
Though(he was) old, he is very strong.
