今天收到NVC通知在11月2日到美國駐香港領事館岀席簽證面談,但有以下問題想問,請解答--
1.因阿仔現在係美國讀大學,最快要等到明年1月初放聖誕新年假才返香港,請問簽證面談可否改期,又或可否在美國進行簽證面談,手續如何?
2.阿女將近13歲,她是否出席簽證面談呢?因她在11月2日起飛到英國學校交流團,所以,若果要岀席簽證面談的話,可否改期,手續如何?

1. Possible but not recommended as:a. You will not be able to know where is next appointment will be.
b. Your son's (or others') eligibility may be affected by the delay.
Interview in the U.S. is not practical (as you have to report first in order for your son to be eligible again. In other words, what you have done for your son means nothing if you choose to do so).

yes, of course you can. but you only able to pospone the date later, not earlier.
1. your son already in US, he should has all his record the embassy need when he apply his student visa. so, he no need to come back to Hk for interview ( if he still single and under age 21 ).
2. your daughter must come with you at interview, it means you should mark the new date after she came back HK.
3. yes, your new interview date is appoint by the embassy, not by you. if their immigration files are very busy ( yes, it is busy ), your next date will be on next 30 days or up to 3 months later.
pospone the interview date will not effect the successful chance for your application, but just will delay your case for months.
