Why does ice cream have that much of cholesterol?

anything with animal products contains cholesterol. if you're concerned about it find an ice cream alternative that doesn't contain dairy.

Because it contains butter fat (which is an animal fat)

Because it's made with butter fat....the better the brand, the better the taste but worse for you.

try low fat yogurt or gelato as an alternative.
