before experiment:
pipette - first wash it with water, followed by washing with the liquid to be contained. this is to remove the residual water, avoiding dilution of liquid.
burette - same as pipette.
conical flask - wash with water ONLY. do not wash with any liquid to be contained, as this will leave residual chemicals, increasing actual amount of chemicals inside.
after experiment:
wash all equipment with water. if pipette and burette have contained alkali, it's possible to wash with diluted acid first, followed by washing with water.
