The question is: are the Braves going to score? The Twins have lost eight or nine straight playoff games to the Yankees; so maybe they are due to win one. I don't think they're going to win a high pressure game in NY though. The Reds have a great offense, but the Phillies are still hot, and Hamels has been nearly unbeatable; so I think the Reds are out.
I guess that leaves it up to the Rays to extend their series. They are the team with the best chance to avoid a sweep. They also had the best road record in baseball. The Phillies were second, so that looks bad for the Reds too.
I don't know if any of the teams can avoid the sweep. I honestly thought the Twins had a good chance to win it, but they have yet again succumbed to their personal Yankees curse. The Rays are getting blown out of the water, the Braves couldn't hit a beach ball, and while the Reds have shown flashes of brilliance, they killed themselves tonight.
