Completed the equivalent of a U.S. secondary school; SAT or ACT with writing test score is required for beginning freshman applicants only; TOEFL score is not required for freshman applicants. However, TOEFL score may augment your application if you are applying as an international student from a country where English is used as a second language. If submitted, required TOEFL score is (Institution Code is 5812): Paper-Based 550, Computer-Based 213, Internet-Based 80.

SAT or ACT with writing test score is required for beginning freshman applicants only. If you are a freshman applicant who does not want to take the SAT, you can submit ACT scores. HKCEE results count towards the secondary school completion requirement. TOEFL score fulfils the English requirement.

UF now requires an international undergraduate student to have USD43045 certified by the bank to cover the cost of 1st year attendance. The average tuition/fees for an out-of-state undergraduate is USD5020+20140 = 25160 for 2010-11. Housing ~USD5300. Non-resident rate per credit hour = USD911.

It depends. A lot of scholarship programs require the applicant to be a US resident and/or Florida resident. For an international student attending a US university for the first time, scholarship resources can be scarce.
