Pls explain the meaning of "the bigger ticket" ？
The context is:
『Men, by contrast, tend to spend more of their income on gadgets, beverages and alcohol, dining out, and socializing. They also tend to save for the bigger ticket items , like cars and houses.』

Big ticket item refers to retail goods that have a high selling price in comparison to other items sold in the same store, and that have high profit potential associated with them.It can also refer to niche stores that sell products at a higher price than general retail (ie. an electronics outlet sells big ticket items).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_ticket_item
