What is 孳息

Below is the example to explain the different of 孳息 and 利息.

Face value of Bond: $10,000
Interest (利息率) rate: 5% per annum

Case 1
You can buy the Bond at market value: $9,500
Interest received: $10,000 x 5% x 1 year = $500
Yielded rate (孳息率) is $500 / $9,500 = 5.26%

Case 2
You can buy the Bond at market value: $10,500
Interest received: $10,000 x 5% x 1 year = $500
Yield rate (孳息率) is $500 / $10,500 = 4.76%

Yield rate is the return of interest by actual cost of Bond.

孳息, 一般指~孳息率
孳息率也稱票息（Coupon rate），指在一定時期內，由資本或本金所產生的收益占本金的百分比，通常時間以年為單位。

如冇記錯英文是yielded interest. difference就在於多了"yield"的意思，就是"產生的"利息。答問題要小心，問interest可以是問apr or epr, 問yield可能是問該產品在某段期間可以產生的利息收益。
