With the advances in information technology, we can get large amounts [huge means big in size e.g. building) of different information in the Internet. The advances in information technology not only brought many convenience to us, but also brought a lot of change in crime.
It is a special crime because, for one thing, nothing [x] physical is taken away from owners; and for another, the originals are still with their rightful owners. Some would use this [x] to argue that downloading without paying for them is innocent but I can say that you are wrong.
We all are the victim of illegal downloading. As we don’t pay for the creative companies that may lead to discourage innovation and creativity in the long run. Artists will have no incentive to make new movies and songs. As a result, [x] piracy causes us to have less new songs, movies and softwares to enjoy.
Some [x] still argue that he/she is not guilty. Now let’s think about why we have law. The law is as a protection against our rights. We have the right to live, so [x] murder is a crime. Similarly, [x] downloading without paying for the owner is no difference.
[Very weak argument, I dont' see the similarity: what does paying for something and not paying for something similar to live and die? In fact, if I have the right to enjoy a song is like my right to live, then I should not have to pay in order to own it! Those who requires me to pay for my life is call extortion-a crime! Try to find a better analogy.]
In conclusion, [x] illegal downloading happens very often because we don’t see any victim and their unhappy faces in the internet. Therefore, we may under the delusion that illegal downloading hasn’t cause anyone unhappy. As a result, if we face with this situation [x], we should think [x] deeply [x] about what is right and (what is) wrong.
