12 is divided by 4. The quotient is then subtracted from 6.

15 is multiplied by 3, then divided by 9.
15 times 3, then divided by 9.

5 is multiplied by 2. 7 is divided by 4. Then the quotient is subtracted from the product.

6)6-(5-2)
Find the difference between 5 and 2,. then the difference is subtracted from 6.

Comment:
6 – 4 = 2
There are several ways to say it.
6 minus 4 is 2.
The difference between 6 and 4 is 2.
Subtract 4 from 6 and the result is 2.
4 is subtracted from 6 and the result is 2.

NEVER say SUBTRACT 6…… for the above subtraction.

“Subtract 6” means “minus 6”
