When 10cm^3 of a gaseous hydrocarbon, C3Hx, was burnt with an excess of oxygen at 110'C. The volume measured under the same conditions expanded by 5cm^3. What is the value of x, and what volume of oxygen was used under these conditions?

Please give me detail explanation... Thanks!

C3Hx + [3 + (x/4)]O2 → 3CO2 + (x/2)H2O

Volume of C3Hx used = 10 cm³
Volume of O2 used = 10*[3 + (x/4)] = (30 + 2.5x) cm³
Volume of CO2 formed = 3*10 = 30 cm³
Volume of H2O formed = (x/2)*10 = 5x cm³

Expansion in volume:
30 + 5x - 10 - (30 + 2.5x) = 5
2.5x -10 = 5
2.5x = 15
x = 6

Volume of O2 used = 30 + 2.5(6) = 45 cm³
