pronoun就是給一個名詞(東西/人物)的代號「他/她/它/他們/它們」等字he/she/it/they。


adverb就是"adjective" for a "verb"，為動詞而設的形容詞。一般的形容詞主要是形容物件/人等「名詞」的。但就如中文也有形容動作或動態的描寫詞一樣，英語也有很多字是只會用來形容動態的。

查字典註"adv"的便是adverb, "a."/"adj"的便是adjective。有時同一個字的變化式會包括adj和adv的，留意一下吧。例如通當xxxxly都會是adv.
