其中一句對白係don't you have a girlfriend?
點解要用don't you而唔係用do you have a girlfriend?
請指教..thx

do you have a girl friend?這是普通的問題，即問者心裏沒有預期的答案

而don't you have a girl friend?文化上叫rhetorical question(語意問題），問者心裏是期望答者，答案是＂是＂

所以，當譯這些問題時，許多時可加＂難道＂

如你的句子don't you have a girlfriend?，可譯成＂難道你沒有女朋友？＂（問者心裏，其實是期望答者說：我有女朋友）

而do you have a girlfriend?就只會譯成＂你有沒有女朋友？＂

為了起誤會，答案是＂是＂，應是：答案是＂yes"（因為英文與中文，是與否，有是不同意思）

When you expect the answer to be negative (no), or you feel surprised that someone does not have/do something, you use Don't you...?
If the expected answer is open/ unknown (yes/no), you use Do you...?
