Will the computer boot when the hard drive driver has been uninstalled?

When the hard drive driver is uninstalled, will the computer boot when I turn it on next time?

yes the bios has a boot sector reader built in that reads the drive until the O/S takes over

Since you Windows OS is on your hard drive and you "uninstalled" it the the computer cant see your hard drive...so If your trying to "boot" to the windows screen...its not going to happen! you can get into the bios screen. If you just formatted the hard drive (not removed the hard drive) the bios will show you have one...with nutting on it. it will prompt you to insert you OS disc to install windows.

Boot into what? The computer will turn on but you'll get an error message about the MBR missing.The only thing you can do is enter the CMOS setup screen and play with the settings
