In the vertical direction, there are only two forces, the weight of the car and the normal reaction.
The equation describing the morion at this location is:
R - mg = mv^2/r
where R is the normal reaction acting on the car
g is the acceleration due to gravity

Hence, R = mg + mv^2/r = m(g + v^2/r)
