✔ 最佳答案
4/x + 2/x + 1 = 5
(4 + 2)/x = 5 - 1
6 = 4x
x = 6/4
x = 3/2 (1.5)

I assume you mean:
4/x + 2/(x +1) = 5
multiply by common denominator
4(x+1) + 2 x = 5 x(x+1)
4 x +4 + 2x = 5 x^2 + 5 x
5 x^2 + 5 x - 6 x -4 = 0
5x^2 - x -4 = 0
(x -1) (5x +4) =0
x =1
x = - 4/5

4/x + 2/x + 1 = 5

4/x + 2/x = 4

(4+2)/x = 4

6/x = 4

6 = 4x

x = 1.5

Multiply everything by x:

4 + 2 + x = 5x

Move x to the right:

6 = 4x

Divide by 4:

1.5 = x

Solve:

4/x + 2/x + 1 = 5

Multiply everything by x

4/x * x + 2/x * x + 1 * x = 5 * x

4 + 2 + x = 5x

6 + x = 5x

Subtract x from each side of the equation

6 + x - x = 5x - x

Combine like terms:

x - x = 0

5x - x = 4x

6 = 4x or

4x = 6

Divide each side by 4

4x/4 = 6/4

x = 3/2

x = 1.5

(4/x) + (2/x) = 5-1

(6/x) = 4

6 = 4x

x = 6/4

x = 3/2 or 1.5

First move is to guess as to how the question should be presented.
My guess is :-
4/x + 2 / ( x + 1 ) = 5
4 ( x + 1 ) + 2 x = 5x ( x + 1 )
4x + 4 + 2x = 5 x ² + 5 x
5 x ² - x - 4 = 0
( 5 x + 4 ) ( x - 1 ) = 0
x = - 4/5 , x = 1

Just in case you meant :-

4/x + (2/x) + 1 = 5
6/x = 4
x = 6/4
x = 3/2

PS
Subject is not about guessing so remember to use brackets.
Hope that I guessed correctly.

At first x can't be 0.
4/x+2/x+1=5
<=>
(4+2+x)/x=5x/x
<=>
6+x=5x
<=>
6=5x-x
<=>
6=4x
=>
x=6/4=3/2=1.5
