A man sitting on a merry-go-round(vertical type) moving in a circle of radius 20m
at speed of 5 m/s observes his apparent weight to be 1000N at lowest position.

Consider the lowest position,
1000 - mg = m x 5^2/20
where m is the mass of the man, and g is the acceleration due to gravity
hence, m = 88.89 kg (take g = 10 m/s2)

At the highest position,
88.89g - R = 88.89 x 5^2/20
where R is the apparent weight at that position
i.e. R = 778 N
