About sucrose

Why sucrose doesn't have reducing power
My teacher said the bonding of sucrose molecule is locked so cannot reduce other
Is it right or have other explanations?

your teacher is right.

for sugars to have reducing power, in straight-chain form they must possess an aldehyde (--> aldose -CHO ) or ketone (--> ketose >C=O ).
however, in formation of sucrose, these groups in glucose and fructose are used to bind them together, forming sucrose.
as no aldehyde or ketone are present, sucrose has no reducing power.
