I seem to be having a hard time finding specs for your pc(there seems to be quite a few different models of 530's). If you plan to upgrade to 4gb of ram, make sure you have a 64 bit operating system to take advantage of it. Can you open the side panel of your pc and tell us if you have a pcie x16 slot and what watts power supply you have(also look on the 12v rail and tell us what amps it can deliver). Upgrading to 4Gb of ram and adding a HD6670 would definitely be and improvement and it would cost you well under 100 pounds. Its a great little experience builder for you and it can hold you over for a while. Another path you can take is purchase a Corsair CX430v2 power supply(47$ US) and then purchase a HD6850(100$ US) and the Ram as well. That combo will completely transform your pc, it would be a whole new monster that could do gaming and every other scenario nicely.
it depends on usage of your computer.
if your usage is for gaming or high memory using softwares you will need high ram.
if you need is of general like internet browsing, ms office work then it is ok.
64-bit can support upto 128 gb ram.
yes that is enough. but, one of the main reasons to have a bit OS to be able to run more then 4 gigs of ram, so if you can get more then you should, but you dont need more
32 Bit computers should have more than 2GB of Ram
Windows 7 cannot run with 2GB of ram.
Netbooks with Windows 7 have more than 2GB ram, they spiffed up the power this time.
Oh well Microsoft... oh well
