chase on the other side of the border... 在氣車上什麼叫追尾?是意外嗎? 即是跟車太貼嗎? thank anybody help?

坦白講，沒有聽過這句phrase，如果照字面解可能是越境追捕之類的描述，例如北美美國警察有時會過境至加拿大墨西哥查案等。汽車術語的「跟車太貼」美式英文是tailgating.Tailgate是尾隨前車，好像捉對方尾巴吧。
