You can make a company search on the annual return of that company ( C ) via a company search in Companies Registry. You can know the shareholding ( No. of shares held and its percentage ) of a company ( H ) holding the shares of that company C.If the shareholding % of H on C is more than 20% but below 50% , we than call C is an associate of H. If the shareholding % of H on C is more than 50%, we then call C is a subsidiary of H, the holding company.
