C.) Both. Since coming to the Red Sox in 2003, Ortiz has played 966 games as DH (according to my counting). But, he's played 116 games at first, which is the only non-DH position he's had with the Red Sox.
Well, I guess it's more 'B' than 'A'. He plays a LOT of DH, but he has played more than a few games at first...
