hydrogen was collected over water.The volume of hydrogen and water vapour is 0.5dm^3 at 25度and 650mmHg.Given that the preesure of saturated water vapour at 25度is 24mmHg.
(a) find the partial pressure of hydrogen.
(b)find the mole fraction of hydrogen.
(c)calculate the volume that dry hydrogen would occupy under the given condition.

(a)
Partial pressure of H2 = 650 - 24 = 626 mmHg

(b)
Mole fraction of hydrogen = 626/650 = 0.963

(c)
Volume of dry H2 = 0.5 x 0.963 = 0.482 dm³
